A low-fat, low-sugar cold coffee recipe to satisfy your taste buds. Try this coffee-shop style frappe that uses healthy alternative to sugar.
- 7-8 cubes ice
- 2 tsp coffee powder (I used Nescafe)
- 2 tbsp low fat cream (I used Amul)
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 3-4 drops liquid stevia
- 2 tiles dark chocolate (I used Amul's 55% dark)
- Approx. 1/2 cup whipped cream
Put ice cubes in a mixer jar.
Add coffee powder.
Add cocoa powder.
Add low fat cream.
Add milk. I used regular milk but skimmed milk can be used instead if you want to make it healthier.
Add stevia drops.
Grind till you get a slush-like consistency.
Add dark chocolate tiles to the mixture in the mixer jar.
Grind again to make thick, chocolaty, javachip frappuccino style cold coffee.
Pour in a glass or a large coffee mug.
Top it up with whipped cream.
Add chocolate syrup or small pieces of dark chocolate on top, to decorate. (optional)
